A brand new feature where I dress myself up in couture virtually.
I am so excited to announce and reveal my brand new personal project, the "Digital Dress-Up Series"! During Quarantine a lot of us made new hobbies or learned new things about ourselves. I found the best way I could escape the constant anxiety and uncertainty was to immerse myself in art, particularly by mixing fashion and graphic design. I'd lose myself in fashion Pinterest boards, and I'd go online shopping and drool over expensive pieces I could never afford. Until one day I had an idea, what if I could "wear" these clothes...but digitally? Particularly, clothes I could never afford to wear in real life, that celebrities and influencers can wear on the regular. I created my own Cinderella moment for myself, if you will. Or maybe more appropriately, my own Barbie moment.
Additionally, I wondered what it would look like to customize high fashion clothes to my body type. The "Digital Dress-Up" is the result of my fashion fantasies and my imagination going wild. I will share three outfits I put together per post "wearing" couture clothes as if I were to have no budget. I plan on implementing themed posted too. I hope you enjoy playing dress-up with me! I can't wait to see how this series evolves as my graphic design skills continue to improve.
Disclaimer: This feature is light-hearted and intended for fun only. Clothing items "worn" in my posts might fit differently when purchased and worn in real life, as I have the ability to tailor the pieces to my body-type via photoshop. All clothing used will be linked to their original source.
I can't tell you enough how many times I've lusted over Versace clothing. Especially now seeing Dua Lipa wearing beautiful and iconic pieces everywhere. I have a major passion for skater style or A-line dresses, as they flatter my body type the most. The fact that is has a bow is a bonus too. These colors are super amazing and fun for spring. I love how Versace has many "under the sea" inspired clothing and accessories right now so I chose the most gorgeous starfish earrings. White is perfect for spring so I chose to add sunglasses to the look for an extra cool-girl but polished vibe.

I am obsessed with anything and everything Jacquemus puts out so this piece is a dream come true. White polo cropped t-shirts are so in right now but the unique silhouette is inspirational and totally wearable. I'm obsessed with these sequin pants and the color of them. Unfortunately, the edit doesn't show the true lime green and iridescence but you can see it in the attached photo and link. This is such a fun color combination for Spring and Summer. I added some stunning layered necklaces and pearl statement earrings as well as two-toned green glasses. I'm ready for the beach and a nice cocktail, please.
Jennifer Behr Amadora Lemon Necklace ($128.00)
Brinker & Eliza Baroque Pearl Necklace ($251.00)
Completed Works TRA-LA-LA Pearl Earrings ($305.00)
I was feeling really edgy and really inspired by the feminine silhouette of this amazing Dolce & Gabbana dress. When I first saw it I was immediately in awe of the off-the-shoulder sleeves. I love the look and versatility of mesh-turtlenecks especially under silver layered necklaces. This mesh turtleneck in particular is so unique because of the extra long sleeves. The shape of the sunglasses adds a bit of a futuristic element to the look as well. Black paired with denim and pops of silver is very aesthetically pleasing to my eye.
Fendi High Neck Long-Sleeved Mesh Bodysuit ($479.00) (Original mesh turtleneck is no longer unavailable so this one is similar).
Balenciaga Eyewear Dynasty Sunglasses ($450.00)
