Digital Dress-Up: Red, White & Black

A brand new feature where I dress myself up in couture virtually.

Hello everyone! I hope you are doing well! I'm kind of all over the place but of course always seeking peace as usual. My muscles are super sore from oner of my Martial Arts classes so I'm trying to drink as much water as possible and take it easy. I keep saying I'm going to take a bath but I can't seem to push "pause" in order to do so. I'm too excited about my graphic design work.

I finally feel as though I'm on the right path and doing what I'm meant to be doing and that's a huge deal for me, considering I've been feeling like I've been in purgatory of sorts the past two years regarding my career. I'm also trying this new thing where I'm adding little blurbs or check-ins before I share my outfits and creative pieces. I don't want to lose touch and I want people to know there's certainly a big personality behind all of this. This week, I was really inspired by the colors red, white and black and what they look like together. I immediately think of card decks. These colors are a very odd choice since they aren't necessarily "Spring" colors but I was feeling bold and feeling very into embracing my power. I think these colors and looks do just that.

OUTFIT #1

This first look exemplifies my love of layering. I've always loved polos because I love preppy looks but they are very in right now. I added a solid red "Off-White" tank over the polo and I really like the contrast between the solid color against the texture of the polo. Because I can't remember the last time I actually wore a mini-skirt, I paired this look with one to live vicariously through. One of my favorite looks is knee high boots with mini skirts and these Balmain boots are insanely gorgeous!

Tasaki 7.5mm Akoya Pearl Choker in Silver ($5,680.00)

Balmain Boots in White ($1,158.00

OUTFIT #2

I don't own anything paisley printed so these pants excited me. Again, wanted to play around with layers I added an "Opening Ceremony" sweater to be tucked into the pants and paired it with this super cool vinyl coat. I love vinyl coats because they look edgy but also they look wet and it's such a cool and edgy look. My signature look always include pointed boots and layered chained necklaces. The red sunglasses tie everything together.

Opening Ceremony Box Logo Turtleneck Jumper ($178.00)

Etro Bandana-Print Straight-Leg Jeans ($710.00)

Supriya Lele Tie Fastening Detail Vinyl Coat ($710.00)

Gentle Monster x Marine Serre Visionizer Sunglasses ($350.00)

Ippolita Sterling Silver Glamazon Bastille Link Chain Necklace ($1,295.00)

Missoma Silver Marina Double Chain Necklace ($335.00)

Amina Muaddi Giorgia Leather Ankle Boots ($1,045.00)

OUTFIT #3

This look is totally something I would wear traveling specifically to France or Italy. I absolutely love culottes and palazzo pants but don't own nearly enough of them, let alone white ones. They are so comfortable. Though a bit pirate-y I find that's part of the charm. I love gingham for Spring and thought this top was a beautiful silhouette. Loose sleeves with a low-cut collar while being tight around the waist and adjustable always means more flattering. I added all black accessories with black pointed boots, black sunglasses and black layered necklaces to compliment both the red and the white.

Balmain Gingham Cropped Top ($1,895.00)

Mansur Gavriel Wide Trousers ($244.00)

Dior 30Montaigne Sunglasses ($560.00)

Missoma Silver Black Onyx Graduated Sphere Necklace ($278.00)

Ippolita Sterling Silver Lollipop Lollitini Hematite Station Necklace ($895.00)

Gianvito Rossi Leather Buckle Pointed-Toe Booties ($622.00)
